Chain & sprockets for motorsport
Drive chain cut to the exact pitch count, 415H held in UK stock, and sprockets machined to your drawing, for motorcycles, karts and one-off performance builds.

The right chain, at the right length, first time
Performance builds rarely want a standard box length. Our everyday service is exactly what a motorsport build needs:
- 415H narrow drive chain from UK stock — 1/2″ pitch × 3/16″ inner width with heavy-series plates, cut from 250 ft coils to your length. Not sure if your chain is 415H or a 420? Send the width between the inner plates and we will confirm before you order.
- Standard BS and ANSI sizes cut to pitch count for karts, paddock equipment and drive conversions, with the connecting link supplied; see the full size chart.
- Sprockets to your drawing — bore, bolt pattern and tooth count to suit the engine or axle, machined to our specification; one-offs welcome.
- Your spec stays on file, so the rebuild next season is a phone call, not a measuring session.
Chain size and pitch count, or sprocket teeth, bore and bolt pattern: that is enough to quote. Don't know? Measure with our chain identification guide or send a photo with a rule in shot.
Straight answers
Do you stock motorcycle drive chain?
We hold 415H (1/2 inch pitch, 3/16 inch inner width, heavy-series plates) in UK stock in 250 ft coils, cut to your exact length with the connecting link supplied. Other motorcycle and kart sizes are supplied to order; send the size, or measure the chain and we will identify it.
Can you supply an exact pitch count for a conversion or custom build?
Yes: that is our standard service, not a special. Tell us the pitch count, or send the old chain, and the new one arrives cut to length with the joining link in the bag. Odd counts are handled with the correct offset link.
Can you make sprockets for an unusual engine or axle?
Yes. Sprockets and gears are machined to our specification from your drawing or a sample: bore, bolt pattern and tooth count to suit. One-off and small-batch work is normal here.
I don't know what chain is on the machine. Can you identify it?
Measure the pitch, roller diameter and inner width (or just send a photo with a rule in shot) and we will name it. Our chain identification guide walks through it in five minutes.
Mid-build and need it right?
Send the chain number and length, or the drawing for the sprocket, and we will quote it, usually the same day.
