Double-pitch conveyor chain, from UK stock
C2040 to C2122H in steel, stainless steel and hollow pin, standard and large roller, with the attachments to build a working line.

Standard roller, large roller, and what the H means
C20x0 chains carry standard rollers; C20x2 chains carry oversized rollers that run the chain along a track for supported conveying. From 1½″ pitch upward the chain is made heavy-series as standard. That is the H in C2060H, C2080H and C2100H; it is not an optional extra.
- Attachments across the range: A1, K1, A2, K2, SA1, SK1 and extended pins (D1/D3)
- Stainless steel for washdown and food lines; hollow pin for rods and spindles
- Built-up attachment chain assembled in-house to your spacing
Chain codes get ambiguous. C2060HSS is the heavy-series chain in stainless steel; C2060HPSS is the hollow-pin chain in stainless steel. Every product on this site states what it is in words, so you always order the right chain.

The other conveyor chain families
Double-pitch is the everyday conveyor chain, but plenty of machines run on something heavier. We supply the BS, ISO 1977 and FV solid-bearing-pin ranges (26.7 to 900 kN minimum breaking load, scrapers and deep-link available), drop-forged link chain for scraper and en-masse conveyors, and cast & combination chain to order. Choosing from scratch? Work through the five questions that pick a conveyor chain.
Pitch, plus a photo of a link side on, identifies almost any conveyor chain. Send both with your enquiry and we will do the rest.
Straight answers
What is the difference between C2040 and C2042 chain?
Both are 1 inch pitch double-pitch conveyor chain. C2040 has standard-diameter rollers; C2042 has oversized (large) rollers that carry the chain along a track, the usual choice for supported conveying.
Why are the larger sizes called C2060H, C2080H and so on?
From 1.5 inch pitch upward, double-pitch conveyor chain is made as heavy series (thicker plates) as standard. The H is part of the standard product, not an upgrade you need to specify.
Do you supply stainless steel and hollow-pin versions?
Yes. Most sizes are held in UK stock in stainless steel, and hollow-pin versions (for fitting rods, spindles and attachments) are stocked in the popular sizes, including stainless steel hollow-pin.
Dimensions & breaking loads
Double-pitch conveyor chain data: C20x0 standard roller, C20x2 large roller. Large-roller chains run on the roller along a track.

From C2060 upward the heavy-series (H) construction is the standard product at these sizes. Breaking loads are the ISO 1275 standard minimums; other figures are nominal standard dimensions. Verifying an unknown chain? Read how to identify a roller chain.
