American Standard (ANSI) roller chain, from UK stock
Sizes 25 to 160 in simplex, duplex and triplex, with stainless steel, heavy-series and hollow-pin variants, cut to your exact length. Order by 1pm for same-day dispatch.

60-1 and 60-1H, made up to your machine
We hold 60-1 and 60-1H in bulk coils of 150 ft and more, and supply them made up to the exact pitch count your machine needs: connecting link fitted, cranked link included for odd counts, bagged and labelled with your reference. These are the sizes that keep harvesters and farm machinery running through the season.
- Tell us the pitch count, or send the old chain and we will count it
- Heavy-series (60-1H) held in stock for shock-loaded drives
- Your made-up spec is kept on file, so a reorder is a phone call away
ANSI 40, 50, 60 and 80 cover most drives in agriculture, packaging and OEM machinery. We hold them in UK stock in the common variants, with attachments (A1, K1, SA1, SK1, WA2, WSK2, D1/D3 extended pins) to build on.
415H narrow drive chain
Alongside the standard ANSI range we hold 415H in UK stock in 250 ft coils: 1/2″ pitch with a narrow 3/16″ inner width and heavy-series plates, cut to your length with the connecting link supplied. It is the usual fit for small motorcycles, mopeds, karts and compact machine drives. Not sure whether your chain is 415H or a 420? Measure the width between the inner plates and send it over — we will confirm before you order.
Availability by size and variant
Manufactured for us in our partners' ISO 9001:2015-certified factories. Attachment versions, straight-plate (F series) versions and connecting links available across the stocked sizes. Every size has its own page — 40, 60, 80 and the rest — or see the full size chart.

Straight answers
Can I replace standard ANSI chain with heavy-series (H) chain?
Usually, yes. Heavy series shares the same pitch and rollers so it runs on the same sprockets, but it improves fatigue and shock resistance rather than breaking load. Read our guide on standard vs heavy-series chain, or send us a photo of the failure and we will advise.
Do you cut ANSI chain to length?
Yes. We hold 60-1 and 60-1H in bulk coil and supply chain made up to your exact pitch count with the connecting link fitted, including cranked links for odd counts, and labelled with your reference for repeat orders.
What is the difference between 60-1 and 60-1H?
Same 3/4 inch pitch and roller; 60-1H has thicker side plates for shock and fatigue resistance. Both are held in UK stock.
Dimensions & breaking loads
Simplex chain data for the American Standard (ANSI) range. The chain number encodes the pitch in eighths of an inch.

Heavy-series (H) chain shares these pitch and roller dimensions with thicker plates, so it runs on the same sprockets. Breaking loads are the ASME B29.1 standard minimums; other figures are nominal standard dimensions. Duplex and triplex share the same pitch, roller and plate dimensions; multi-strand widths, transverse pitches and attachment platform dimensions on request. Verifying an unknown chain? Know the size and length you need?
Send the chain number and pitch count, or the worn chain itself, and we will quote it the same day.
