Chain for agricultural & harvesting machinery
Drive, elevator and attachment chain for farm and harvesting machinery, built for shock loads, grit and the fact that harvest doesn't wait for lead times.

When the machine stops, the season doesn't
Harvesting machinery is the hardest test of a supplier: shock loads, soil and crop debris in every joint, and a repair window measured in hours. That's why the agricultural workhorses, 60-1 and heavy-series 60-1H, are held in bulk coil and as made-up lengths with connecting links fitted, ready for next-day delivery or collection.
- 60-1 & 60-1H in 150ft+ coils, cut to your pitch count, links fitted
- Heavy series for shock-loaded drives: when it helps and when it doesn't
- Attachment & extended-pin chain (A1, K1, D1/D3) for elevators, webs and feeders
Send the pitch count once and we hold the spec. Many customers keep a made-up spare per machine through the season, so the reorder is one call.
What goes where
The common agricultural duties and what we fit to them.
| On the line | The chain answer |
|---|---|
| Harvester drives under shock load | ANSI 60-1H heavy series and other heavy-duty sizes from UK stock |
| Elevators, webs & feed conveyors | Attachment chain (A1/K1) and extended-pin builds (D1/D3) to your spacing |
| Root-crop & vegetable harvesters | Made-to-measure attachment chain, assembled in-house to drawing or sample |
| General farm machinery drives | BS & ANSI roller chain cut to length, ANSI range |
| Wet & corrosive duties | Zinc-plated and stainless steel options; specialist coatings on request |
| Obsolete machine, obsolete chain | Identification from a photo or sample, then supplied or built. how it works |
Straight answers
A harvester chain snapped mid-season. How fast can you help?
Send a photo with a rule in shot and the pitch count if you have it. Stocked sizes ordered by 1pm arrive next working day; collection from Malvern is same-day for stock.
Should I fit heavy-series chain on my harvester?
If chains are failing by cracked plates under shock, yes: heavy series is built for that. If they are stretching (wear), heavy series will not last longer; the fix is specification or lubrication, and we will tell you which.
Can you copy a manufacturer's special chain?
Usually. Send the worn chain or a drawing. Attachment chain and specials are assembled in-house in Malvern, and once built up, your spec stays on file.
Tell us the line, not just the part number
Describe the machine, the product and the problem, and we'll match the chain, usually the same day.
